Shiloh Baptist Church's homeless ministry is a faith-based or secular organization that provides support and services to people experiencing homelessness. We offer a range of assistance, including distributing food,  clothing, and blankets, and building relationships with the homeless. 

The Trustee Board is responsible for management of the Church’s  properties, finances, personnel and all contractual agreements. We  believe that life is better when we do it together. This   Ministry is designed to address the needs of individuals and family   units, to foster the building of meaningful relationships among one   another and to ensure that the sick, shut-ins, and the bereaved receive   the proper and appropriate care.

This board formulates policies and implements  programs in  conjunction with the pastor for the church’s teaching  ministries. The  Church provides Christian education programs for all  ages. This  ministry includes all the ministries of the church that  involve the  youth and young adults of the church.  It is designed to  assist the  youth and young adults in developing a relationship with  God, building  self-esteem, developing leadership skills, and personal  growth. Ministry fosters building relationships and spiritual   development. The focus of this ministry is upon personal, church, community and public service ministries. All women are encouraged to   participate and share their talents and gifts.  

The Men’s  Ministry fosters building relationships and spiritual  development. The  focus of this ministry is upon personal, church,  community and public  service ministries. All men are encouraged to  participate and share  their talents and gifts.  

The goals of these  Ministries are to win people to Christ, and prepare them to win other  converts by utilizing their gifts in collaboration with the Holy Spirit,  in the context of the body of Christ. 

The SBCNJ Praise Team provides  music for worship services, special  church and community programs.  The  choir repertoires include numerous  music genres.  

Adult Usher  Ministry enhances the worship experiences serving as  greeters, door keepers, collecting offerings, seating congregants, and  ensuring orderly conduct during worship. The Youth Usher Ministry  performs the same  activities under the direction of the Senior Usher  Ministry.  

The Scholarship Ministry is  to spiritually and financially encourage congregants of the church to  advance their secular and spiritual educations. Educational school  supplies are provided to the youth of the church as needed. The Health  Ministry provides information and training in a variety of areas to  improve the overall health and well-being of the congregants.
